Dimitris Tsouknidis

Dimitris Tsouknidis is Assistant Professor of Shipping Finance at the University of Piraeus.

Dimitris Tsouknidis earned a PhD and conducted Post-Doc research at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Dimitris Tsouknidis positions held in the past include, Lecturer at Cyprus University of Technology (Cyprus) and University of Bradford (UK); and visiting Assistant Professor at University of Reading (UK) and Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece).

Dimitris Tsouknidis research interests lie in asset pricing and macro-finance specialized in shipping and commodities markets. He has published a number of papers, including monographs, in internationally leading refereed journals such as, the Journal of International Money and Finance, Transportation Research Part E and International Review of Financial Analysis. He is Associate Editor of the academic journal Maritime Policy and Management. His research has attracted funding and has led to consultancy and executive training services.
