Ο Άγγελος Παντουβάκης είναι Καθηγητής του τμήματος Ναυτιλιακών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς.
Ο Άγγελος Παντουβάκης σπούδασε Πολιτικός Μηχανικός και Μηχανικός Μεταφορών στο Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο. Συνέχισε τις σπουδές του στο Nottingham Business School του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, MBA (Masters in Business Administration) και έκανε το Ph.D. στο Judge Business School, του Πανεπιστήμιο του Cambridge στη Μοντελοποίηση και Μέτρηση της Ποιότητας στις επιδόσεις των εταιρειών.
